I had a fantastic day today! I had another great nights sleep and I felt right on top of things today. I even got to have a sleep in which was lovely. At around 8:00, we (my husband and I) decided to put the babies in the pram and take them for a walk while I did some interval training. We started with a nice brisk walk for around 5 minutes, and then I would go for a jog for two minutes and then we would walk together (with the kids) for the next three minutes while I caught my breath and recovered. I was meant to spend at least ten minuted doing intervals (min of 2 reps), but it was such a glorious day out and I was feeling just so good, that I did four reps. We took along the camera and took some video footage as well…
I am starting to feel smaller in the whole tummy/bum/thigh areas, so today I pulled out a pair of pants that I haven’t worn since before having Olivia – they are a size 10. I had pulled them out about a week ago and thought “just give it a try… you never know”. Last week I squeezed and wiggled and pulled myself into these pants, I could get them up over the thighs and bum – just, but was no where near getting them done up… probably about two inches away from getting the button through the button hole. So out they came again today. I pulled them up… still had a little bit of wiggling and pulling to do…. but today… I could do up the button and the zipper! They were very snug…. had quite a bit of muffin top going on, but the point is… I could do them up! I reckon in another one ro two weeks, I will be back in them!! It makes all the hard work worth while when you start seeing the results in ways like clothes fitting again!
Food wise – was a good day. I ate breakfast late today – just before heading out for my jog, so instead of eating a meal right before exercising (and giving myself a stitch for it), I decided to have a sustagen drink with no fat milk, and a piece of fruit. This is not a breakfast I would choose to have every day, but because I needed to eat at that time of day, and I also needed to exercise at that time of day it seemed like a good compromise! Surprisingly it kept me satisfied right up until lunch which I also ate later than I should have!
Todays Exercise
-30 min workout (5 min warm up, 20 min intervals, 5 min cool down)

Afternoon Tea – a hand full of nuts
Dinner – Chicken, corn and rice soup
I caught up with an old girlfriend from school today and we spoke heaps about my whole weight loss, fitness, food thing I have going on. She also is wanting to make some changes, so she decided to start just with her fluids. She is going to start drinking around 2L of water a day and cut out the sweet drinks. She decided to give herself two weeks of this and see if there are any changes. We have also decided to get together on Monday afternoons and do an interval session like what I did today. That way one of us can be walking with the children, while the other one is going for a jog. Hopefully we will continue to get together and work pout together. Exercising is so much more fun and enjoyable when you do it with someone.
Day off from exercising tomorrow… might get out in the garden again.
